We call our vinyl laminating fabrics process Vinylizing. But either way, vinyl laminating fabrics is our Performance Process of laminating a commercial grade clear vinyl film to the face of your fabric. This over-laminating process provides protection against stains, wear and tear, and adds strength and longer life to just about any fabric. Our Vinylizing film laminate is phthalate free, contains bacteriostatic laminating process is now available with flame retadant properties. Our laminating process is now available in Matte or Gloss finishes.

Fabric lamination with vinyl is extremely versatile and can be used for most upholstery applications, tablecloths, placemats, and much more. The fabric lamination with vinyl process is available in a matte and gloss finish for a myriad of applications including healthcare, hospitality, commercial and senior living environments. When you laminate fabrics with vinyl, cleaning is easily accomplished with just a damp cloth and mild detergent.

Guidelines for Use/Processing Laminated Fabrics
- Upholstering tips for fabrics laminated with vinyl:
- Works best with hard cushions
- Ensure proper ventilation
- Do not stretch material excessively across the weft. You should not exceed 2 lbs per linear inch.
- Excessive stretching may cause the vinyl film to lift or ‘bridge’ the valleys of the fabric surface.
- When ‘wrapping’ the fabric around upholstered corners and edges, excess fabric should be taken up by pleating, not stretching.
- Cleaning Instructions: To remove most stains from vinyl laminated fabric, use mild soap and water (always use sparingly). Do not soak cushions; liquid may soak through the seams and into the stuffing. For tougher stains, use a mild cleanser such as Soft Scrub. Do not use wire brushes, steel wool or harsh abrasives of the type to clean kitchen utensils.
- Processing time is approximately 7 – 10 days from in-work date to packing date.

Process Terms and Conditions
- Fabric colors are subject to minor variations
- Vinylized fabrics are NOT weatherproof and should not be used outdoors or exposed to high humidity for extended periods.
- Work loss: you must include with your order one additional yard for each continuous piece of material supplied.
- Fabric should be forwarded rolled on a tube with the face side of the fabric clearly marked. Incoming fabric that is wrinkled or not rolled on a tube will be subject to wrinkle removal charges.
